RB a huge hit at ICE Totally Gaming
From 24 to 26 January, RunningBall literally played on ‘centre court’ at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London.
Just inside the main entrance to the 2012 ICE Totally Gaming conference centre, RunningBall created a favourable impression on partners and clients with their state-of-the-art 140m2 stand, eliciting praise and admiration from visitors, who unanimously hailed it as the best seen at any conference for years. The exhibit acted as a portal to the area dedicated to sports betting and really caught the eye, not least because of its large split-video screen.
Founder Hans Thomas Gross, Chairman Bruce MacInnes and CEO Giancarlo Tottoli provided high-profile overviews and strategic outlook presentations to a large number of partners and clients in the dedicated meeting area. For their part, RunningBall’s senior sales and technical specialists brought customers and other interested parties up to speed on the company’s latest products and services – all rounded off with generous hospitality in the form of drinks and snacks at the integrated bar.
The conference slogan “Totally gaming” was aimed at the sportive nature of our visitors, who were invited to demonstrate their football skills with an actual goal-wall, and their proficiency at basketball in RunningBall’s throwing area. For those who preferred wielding a cue, RunningBall laid on a snooker table for the chance to pot a few balls. Alerted to these attractions through the bookmark on the cover of the EGR magazine on display, visitors came in droves to the stand.
Participating was important, winning even more so. Every day, RunningBall gave away one magnificent Apple MacBook Air to the contestant with the highest combined score from the football and basketball challenges. Three happy winners went home with this superb and stylish piece of technology under their arms, but not before some memorable sporting moments and animated debates over a drink or two at the bar.
The good news is that RunningBall plan to do it all again next year and are already looking forward to 2013 and another centre-court appearance at the next ICE.
